When a space needs a large image, a lobby, an auditorium, a control room, a retail feature wall, there are three main choices, and each suits different conditions. Picking by price alone usually leads to regret.
Direct-view LED
Fine-pitch LED delivers bright, seamless images at almost any size, works in well-lit spaces and lasts for years. It is the premium choice for impact and daylight visibility, at a higher cost, and the pixel pitch must suit the closest viewing distance.
Projection
Modern laser projection gives very large images cost-effectively and suits auditoria, houses of worship and darker rooms. It needs controlled lighting and throw distance, and the surface matters as much as the projector.
LCD video walls
Tiled LCD panels are sharp and cost-effective for control rooms and corporate spaces viewed up close, with thin, visible seams between panels being the main trade-off.
